What is USA₮?

USA₮ is Tether's dollar stablecoin for the US market. It's issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., a federally chartered US bank, and designed to work within the federal stablecoin framework set by the GENIUS Act.

Each USA₮ token is designed to hold the value of one US dollar and is backed by reserves. Anchorage Digital publishes a reserve report every month, so the backing is something you can check rather than take on trust.

If you know USD₮, Tether's global stablecoin, USA₮ is its counterpart built specifically for the US.
